On behalf of the faculty and staff of the Edgewood-Colesburg Elementary School, I would like to welcome you to the elementary website. At Ed-Co it is our mission to provide effective instruction in all areas taught, to develop, the potential of all students in the school, to build the basic skills necessary for lifelong learning, and to develop a feeling of self-worth, pride, and confidence that will allow students to cope with their ever-changing global environments.

We currently have 311 students in preschool through sixth grade. We presently have 40 staff members, including both faculty and support staff.

This webpage is designed to provide you with some basic information about Ed-Co. I encourage you to take the opportunity to better acquaint yourself with our school. You can do this by reading the information provided in the Parent/Student Handbook, browsing the webpage, and visiting our school.

Technology is an important and unique strength at Ed-Co. Our building is wireless. All classrooms have computers and are connected to the Internet. Two mobile labs of 24 computers are available to all classrooms. All teachers have a laptop. Twelve of our classrooms are also equipped with a ceiling mounted data projector.

In closing, I extend to you my sincere hope that both you and your child have a rewarding school experience every year.
